Though now it is the digital media that's ruling the arena, yet when it comes to choosing a dj for your party, people end up making such silly mistakes that there's really little left to say. And yet with a little information and some forethought you can select a good dj service that will make your party really rocking. Most people make the biggest mistake while making the budget for a party DJ. A party involves lots of expenses so many people end up just hiring a so-so dj at cheap prices and try to be satisfied. Agreed, it is not possible to spend a lot of money on everything but whatever you are spending make sure you are getting its worth. A word of advice before hiring a DJ - If we qualify the djs in categories we'll find that around 40% DJs are bad, 30% are so-so, 20% are good and the rest 10% are brilliant. So, of course you should target the brilliant 10% but then probably they will charge an exorbitant price, but don't go lower than the good 20%. Because, though to the ears of most people an average dj might sound good enough but someone with a good ear for music would be able to understand the difference very easily and that can be embarrassing. So, if you are hiring just an average DJ service make sure you choose a very good venue and good food as well, so that the DJ takes a back seat in people's memories. But on a serious note make sure you don't compromise too much on your Djs quality. Things to look in a DJ before hiring - a) Make sure the dj you are hiring has all the appropriate instruments, and is not actually just a human Juke box. b) The DJ must agree to do overtime and the overtime charges should not exceed $250. c) Make sure all the packages that are offered to you by the dj are flexible in their terms. Keeping these simple points in mind will help you choose a better dj and organize a party that none of your guests will forget soon.
